When I talked to the team today, I could tell they were so excited to be there! On Friday they got to know one another and Kurt, the missionary who is organizing their trip.
After stopping by everyone’s favorite, Pollo Compero (The KFC of Central America), they were able to get settled into the mission house, and atteded Easter festivities.
The “paintings” you see pictured are actually made of colored saw dust and designed in the streets. The parades come right through on top of them. It’s a long standing Easter tradition in Hispanic countries.
Thank you for the continued prayers for the team!
Stay tuned for Saturday’s update!
